I actually don't hold a lot of truck with New Years Eve as a special time of celebration. I don't need to usher the Old Year out and welcome the New Year in. However rough that the previous year may have been.
What I do like about the New Year is a good old fashioned RESOLUTION. For the most part, I keep them. I like the New Year as a time to make these promises for myself because, I like the symmetry of the date and the time. It is the most definite start date you could ask for.
This year I purchased a book by Jillian Michaels. It is called, Unlimited. I have dreams and passions and this year, my resolutions are reflective of the sentiment of the book. If you want your life to change, it is all very well having a positive outlook but you have to lay the foundations and then start building as if your life depended on it. Because it does.
So here is to another fantastic year.
